Rich Paul serves as vice president of health and performance solutions within the commercial division of ValueOptions®. Mr. Paul has oversight and development responsibilities over EAP and other employer support services, and is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of company-wide EAP best practice initiatives. He has over 15 years’ experience within the EAP and behavioral health field.
Mr. Paul is past-president and current board member of the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA), and has authored dozens of articles on a variety of issues that impact upon productivity and organizational performance. He is also co-editor of the book titled “Workplace Disaster: Preparedness, Response and Management.” He is often involved in consulting with Fortune 500 clients around solutions to improve employee health, resiliency and productivity as well as organizational performance. He obtained his Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois in Chicago, with a concentration in Occupational Social Work and Organizational Development services. He is also a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
